[SOLVED: FRONT HEADPHONES NEED TO BE WIRED UP]
Hello,
I'm in desprate need of help here.
I have a SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio system with no sound. Any speakers I try, it detects them but then says that headphones are connected to the front headphone jack. This is weird because:
1) There isn't any headphones connected to the front headphone jack
2) The front audio jacks arent wired up in my box. So even if there was headphones in there. It wouldn't make a difference. I even tested the front audio jacks with speakers and it didn't detect them.
My specs are:
Intel Pentium 4 Processor
Windows XP SP2
SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio
250GB Hard drive, 80GB Windows NTFS Partition.
The same thing happens on both of my ubuntu live cd's (Hardy Heron Beta, 7.10 Gutsy one.)
Before this i had a realtek audio which worked fine.
Please Help!!!!!
