I have an external StarTech.com USB TV Tuner (Part# USB2TVTUNER). Has anyone gotten this particular unit to work with Mythbuntu 7.10?

A couple of quick google searches don't find me anything....

I've got the same question.. well.. with 8.04 I'm sure it's not the best method, but the tuner adn the crappy pc I'm trying to work with were both free (thanks to my work and g/f). Anyone tryied this already?

By the way, the actual manufacturer is Teac. Knowing that may help with your searches (although I searched pretty hard and could not find anything that would led me to believe that it has any sort of support in Linux). Additionally, it doesn't look like the unit gets very good reviews regarding the picture quality, so I don't know how much effort it is worth.
