Hi, all
I'm an absolute beginner in the world of MythTV. My knowledge of Ubuntu stems from an installation on a TP workstation on my home network, which has been running smoothly for almost a year now (My home server is SME).
I installed Mythbuntu 7.10 yesterday on a 1.6Ghz old P4 machine with a Winfast analogue and a (brand new) TerraTec cinergy C card.
My problem with configuration of MythTV is that only the WinFast Card is recognised. By way of compensation that card sucks in all available channels on our cable network without a hitch - but NOT in digital quality!
Now I know that TTC cards are poorly supported, but does anyone have a clue or a reference to some useful knowledge/drivers or do I really have to revert to the W$ world (augh!) (or pay the cable company for yet another prebuilt mediacenter) to watch HDTV ?

Hi,
is your card listed there: http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-C_PCI_Cards#Currently_Unsupported_DVB-C_PCI_Cards

There's a link to a thred on the linuxtv mailing list, maybe that'll help you.
