I am having a giant brain fart here. I installed a bunch of different composition programs, then took them all off, and the one I liked the best saved my file as a *.ntd and now I can't remember or figure out which one saved in that format.
If anyone could help me, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks!

No, it's not NtEd. I already tried that one. They use .not

really? their front page shows:
File --> Open ... --> datafiles/nted/examples/example1.ntd
and therefore if their examples are saved in .ntd form you should at least be able to open them in that editor. Why'd you delete the editor you liked best anyway?
It's also the only possibility I've found when looking through google, and a few file extension databases. Have you tried "save as"?
