I have installed Wine 0.9.59 and the latest version of Steam. I can start Counter-Strike (non-Source version) but the game freezes at random times. It could be after playing for 10 minutes or 10 seconds. The whole system freezes and I need to do a hard reboot.
I have tried using the OSS sound driver but all I get are no sound and the same freezing. I have have also set HL.EXE and Steam.exe to various combinations of Windows using winecfg but it does no good. I get the same result.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
B
