Hi all,
Just wanted to say "thanks" to the development team for ubuntustudio hardy beta, I have used all the releases of ubuntustudio and the first release was my favourite. If this release of hardy is a measure of what is to come you can be very proud of all effort and hard work you have put in. Gutsy gave me a few issues as did the alpha releases of hardy but today my upgrades seem smooth and the desktop environment is a pleasure to use. I use the dmx6fire sound card on one computer and a sound blaster on another and both are running nice at this time. When I bought the dmx6fire sound on linux was basic and my sound was limited, I was lucky in my choice of sound cards as today my tracks in ardour sound full and rich and the card "just works". I have plenty to learn, using the studio mainly for drum tracks to play guitar along to. I use ardour in its most basic form and no doubt have only touched on its potential.
Thanks again, keep up the good work.
