Audio not working on M57 Lenovo

Hi - I just recently wiped Vista from a Lenovo m57 thinkcentre and put on Ubuntu (64bit). I cannot for the life of me get audio working. Where should I start? I have tried searching the forums but haven't been able to come up with anything.
