I have had Ubuntu before i have downloaded: ubuntu 6.6.02 I was wondering if it supported my printers:

Lexmark z1300
Lexmark: x3350

the lexmarks ive had have been notoriously linux unfriendly :(

Have you checked http://openprinting.org/printer_list.cgi?make=Lexmark ?

Other way: connect the printer, and do a Ubuntu Live CD boot to see what Ubuntu detects and can print.
