nexuiz help

Alright, here's the thing:

I installed nexuiz a while ago, it runs great but the maps are so dark its annoying. I can barely see players :(

have anyone experienced this? I changed the brightness almost to the max, contrast to the middle, gah it just won't take a full effect =/

My mouse will lose focus once in a while in Nexuiz and just spin, kind of annoying.

i'd try messing with the config file to find a brightness/contrast option. perhaps, for some reason, the game isn't properly writing or reading the config file when you increase the contrast.
