I don't know how to make compiz work with KDE. I looked at this (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=705652) thread, but It didn't help. Could someone please point me in the right direction to get it fixed?
I went to compiz settings, general, desktop size, and set virtual desktop size to 4. Works great! :KS

Wait until Kubuntu Hardy comes out end of April. I comes with Compiz! :-) No need to mess around with the system yourself.

I'm on the Ubuntu beta with KDE3 installed atm. Suppose I wanted to do it now, how would I go about fixing it? I wouldn't mind learning.

If you only have 2 desktops, you need to install compizconfig-settings manager package first,
so search for in in synaptic, or use apt-get or whatever.
Then go to general ---> Desktop Size ---> Virtual Horizantal Size
That number is the number of desktops you have.
Good Luck!
