View Full Version : PyChess Installation Problems

I am having trouble installing pychess from a debian package i downloaded from the googlepages site(i believe it's official). The version is 0.8.
The error given when i open the package file is
Dependency not satisfiable python-central
I checked in synaptic and python central is installed on the system. I wanted this version(although an older one is availlable) because of a host of new features i read about in the site. The older version though is working fine on my system.

The problem could be that the packages is compiled with diffrent dependency versions than Ubuntu (a Debian machine perhaps). So you might want to compile it from scratch.
