The file that wubi downloads (daily ISO) is broken at the moment and you will experience an error message at the end of the installation.
The error has already been fixed, but the new ISO has not been uploaded yet.
Until that is done I recommend downloading manually the beta desktop iso from here:
http://releases.ubuntu.com/8.04/
Place the ISO in the same folder where you have wubi.exe
