Hey Everyone,
I was just thinking would it be easier for MythTV's data to have it own partition. I always like the way knoppmyth set its partitions up, It was so easy to reinstall or upgrade.

I suppose that might be an option if you have one hard drive. I personally store all my MythTV files (movies, recordings, music, etc.) on a second hard drive.
When I've had to reinstall... three times now... the only thing I lost was the programs I set to record (easy to repopulate) and already recorded shows.
So my reinstalls have gone pretty easy as such. I suppose if you do it the right way and backup your databases appropriately (instead of being lazy like me) you would be all in the clear...
Your choice I guess? :) Unless there is some technical issue I'm not aware of...

Well I do have two hard drives but they are both big hard drives and would want to use the space on both drives so I have set up a LVM. It would be good if there could put different options in the installer!
