Apple has released version 2 of it's iMac, which features Apple's answer to Microsoft's Media Center (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/mediacenter/default.mspx): FrontRow. Judging from the videos, it kicks major ***.

TiVo runs Linux but it's not exactly the same thing.

MythTV is FOSS, but I have never used it. I've heard good things from it.

Those screenshots look a LOT like tivo, which means they also look a LOT like one of the mythtv themes.

I wonder how much MythTV is in that package?
