Hello,
I bought a wireless mighty mouse for my MacBook 3.1 SantaRosa with Kubuntu 7.10. It worked perfectly out-of-box, after the pairing and it was automatically recognised at every boot of the system without doing anything.
The problem is only if I don't use it for many time (some hours...). Then it's not working and the only way to make it work is to turn-off and then on trough the switch under the mouse.
It's not a great problem but is a little frustating non having the mouse working when you arrive in front of your PC...
Any idea?!
Thanks

I add another question (avoiding to open another post):
Anyone knows how to make the orizontal scrolling working? Trought the "little ball" on my mighty mouse I'm able to make the standard scrolling but not the orizontal scrolling (on MacOsX obviously Im able...). It's not a great loss but if were possible to use it would be better...
I think it's only a "thing" of xorg.conf but I don't know how modify it for this functionality...
Thanks again

supposedly you are just supposed to wake it up... (Click / move it) and it will reconnect. If that is not working, I think the best solution is what you are doing... Turn it off then on again.

Obviously I tried to move/click it... It's after this that I supposed that it was "sleeping"...

I was hoping that there's a method to "polling" it and avoid to loose it...

And that happens even if the laptop doesn't go to sleep/stand by right?

I'm on Hardy now and I noticed the same behavior with the apple wireless keyboard. If I don't use it for a while, it goes to sleep indefinitely. I have to turn it off and on again. When I was on Gutsy, this would not happen. If I started typing, the keyboard would connect back again.

Do you think any of these bugs would be related?

I don't find my problem for gutsy, only for hardy (as you said) into the bugs...
I don't know... Now I think that can be however related: it's the same problem!
I didn't think about a bug, I hoped that was only a problem of "searching polling", because really I had to do NOTHING to make my mouse working, only the pairing and so I thought that the problem would be not present with a little more "tuning"; ok, itsn't so...
Thanks!

There are big problems with Bluetooth in Hardy that I can see... I can't even get my Wireless keyboard to work at all, let alone have to worry about it falling asleep.
