Howdy folks,
First off, I'm not a developer, nor a program writer/editor/anything else. I'm just an end user who figured out how to do something that a lot of other folks are still having a hard time with. In all the research I've done, trust me, a weeks worth of surfing everywhere but the beach, I didn't see anything as, I believe, indepth as this little pictorial guide I thru together for getting Thunderbird set up to receive Hotmail using Webmail. I did this using OpenOffice.org Word Processor (and I've been using the Corel Wordperfect Suite for years), and I'm not sure as to what format to save it in for posting here or elsewhere in the Ubuntu forums. And as it is still edible in the .odt format, I'm not sure on OOo how to lock it. The file is 1Mb in size, so probably needs to be compressed down somehow. Anyway, without wasting to much more time, How could I get it to someone that could take a look at it and give me some advise on what needs to be done with it. I'd appreciate it. Thanks for your time in reading this and looking forward to hearing ... from somebody anyway ;-)

Moved to Forum Feedback and Help.

If you compose your guide as a thread in the Tutorials and Tips section (http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&daysprune=-1&f=100), a staff member will review it and approve it, if it meets the guidelines (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=677396).

If you prefer to start a thread with the file as an attachment, you might want to post it in the General Help section, or wherever you think is appropriate.

Hi K.
After reading the guidelines, I don't think I'm in non-compliance of MozDev.org's privacy statement, but just to be sure, I tried to upload the file here, and since I have did a re-edit to include that the guide is an elaboration of the Account Setup as posted on their Webmail site. I uploaded the file here in the edited post above, but it didin't show up in preview and it has in another post I made of a screenshot I made for another user to compare their settings. I'm thinking that maybe it won't show here as it has to meet approval. Anyway, I think it may be better, if allowed, to just post this as a thread and attachment as mentioned in a prior reply in Tutorials and Tips, into the General Help forum. Thanks again for your time.
