Hi.
After reading lot of posts about this, I cannot find a solution for me. I am using Ubuntu 7.10 (x86_64) and installed VirtualBox 1.5.0 OSE. After installing WindowsXP in virtualbox I noticed that this has an 10.0.2.15 IP with 10.0.2.2 as gateway (via DHCP assigned). My host (Ubuntu) IP is an 192.168.0.x. I'm trying to ping 10.0.2.15 from host, with no reply, but when I ping 10.0.2.2 from virtual XP it works. It's connected with NAT mode.
Any idea?
Worked! This thread helped me http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=346185
