I want to make a video. It is going to be like a show kinda in the style of Oprah, only it will be fun. I am usually by myself, so I need to be able to do it all myself. My options...
1) claymation
2) puppets
3) 2d animation (I suppose with Ktoon unless you know some other program)
4) Blender (I love it, but it would take WAY too long)
I'm kind of thinking of a mix between toys and puppets, or maybe just pure legos?
That would be kind of cool.
hmm.
any suggestions?

I wish there was a way I could get a bunch of free legos.

I used just a few simple clips and MUVEE to do this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILxDJ5JjVEU
I think I saw a similar auto edit plug-in that worked in kino or demux, but I can't remember where

if you export from blender into VRML or X3d you could move 3d in realtime and save a lot of time. somekind of H-anim software like avatarstudio would be useful and actually easier than puppets. One of my ex room mates is a famous puppeteer that worked/studied at Center for Puppetry Arts and I tried my hand at that for awhile and h-anim in VRML/x3d is ALOT easier than puppetry stop-action 2d or claymation by far. So what I would do is make a few avatar aniamtion clips and auto edit it to a soundtrac. It could be done in less than 2 days. Other option would be using Unreal, I've seen some cool animation done that way.

Easiest of all would be to do it in Second Life, I don't know why I didn't think of that, oh yeh, because I hate Second Life for killing X3d, thats why, I hope those Linden Lusers choke on their sculpted prims...
