Well I know people always make different linux distro's often.MY question is how to make one,can someone give me a link?I ask because I have an idea of one that isn't major but, could be set for people like grandparents.Ofcourse I could go overboard either way link please?

You can customize Ubuntu and then use Remastersys (http://www.remastersys.klikit-linux.com/) to turn it into an ISO.

If you are going to try LFS (Linux From Scratch), beware that there is no package management system described, you have to setup one yourself/install an existing one.

LFS is a very good way to learn loads about Linux, but I am not sure it is the best way to build your own distro. It is enjoyable though to get your own LFS running, and should be possible to do in 3 days.

Well I would find this way easier is all.Plus if it has everything I need then I don't think I would need anything else.

i would try slackware for a few days then arch THEN LFS that way you slowly learn everything
