Anybody have a say about powerpc.ubuntuguide.org being down?
How come it's down? I need some help! I can't possibly remember how to install java without it. The instructions on the wiki no worky (for me).
I need powerpc.ubuntuguide.org really bad, mang :D

There used to be a link at the top of ubuntuguide.org that led to either amd64 or powerpc, but both of them are gone for some reason.

Yes, I know. I need it to be back online!
It had the best instructions for java and loads of other stuff.
The wiki just does not suffice.

I've just found a copy of the hoary version here:

http://userlinux.net/pub/stuff/ubuntu/

Most of the guide seems to work for Breezy. It will keep us going untill the new version is finished.:)

I contacted the author of http://ubuntuppc.info/ , an 'alternative' to the now defunct wiki. And a lot of stuff will end up at the official WIKI...
