Strange behaviour of searches on the forum

I noted that, when searching the forums for, for example:
"no sound output in ekiga"
the search finds nothing.
However, when trying to create a new thread, with the same words, the "similar threads wizard" comes up with a bunch of thread (including one that solved my problem).
What is the difference in the search method of these two tools? I'm curious, since it's not the first time I found what I was looking for with this similar threads tool.

The default search search thread content, the other search does titles.

You can get better search results using the "Advanced Search"
