I am having trouble using the live CD to install Ubuntu 7.10 on mym XP desktop. I am using Virtual Box to install it thru and everything works fine until the very end of the Flie Copy and installation process. I'm not getting a prompt for me to reboot like I'm supposed to to complete the installation. Instead I just get a target icon on the screen. Am I missing something? Help please!

The other way round works flawlessly (installing XP in VirtualBox on Ubuntu). I takes me seven seconds to start XP as a virtual machine...
If you want to try Ubuntu, you can burn your .iso copy as a LiveCD. Use the LiveCD to try out Ubuntu without touching your XP installation.

Yes, try Ubuntu LiveCD. If you like it, make room in your HD and install it. You won't look back again!
