imath and maxima

Hi,

I saw a very interesting program at http://members3.jcom.home.ne.jp/imaxima/Site/Welcome.html

Does this program run as a plug-in to emacs? or is it a standalone program?

If it is, can i get it from synaptic? I don't like to complie manually.

Yeah, that's a very useful tool, but it's not in the Ubuntu repository now, I hope that it will be added soon.
