Mathematica 6

I'm running Wolfram Mathematica 6.0.0 in Ubuntu 7.10 64x. In the Mathematica front -end I cannot select a single cell bracket. Automatically all of the same type are selected. Also the part of the Documentation center Window is inactive.

Anybody with similar problems and/or solution idea?

Well, I completely un-installed Mathematica 6.0.0 and installed a fresh copy of Mathematica, version 6.0.1. This solved the problems.

I still don't know what caused it, though...
