wine full screen

hi, i have searched the forums nad found no answer to my problem:(


ok, so trying to run aoe 2 and Counter strike source on Ubuntu using wine 0.9.58

the apps start fine but dont run totaly full screen, the two bars are still over the top, i have folowed several "solutions" but none of them have worked and i almost messed up my display totaly....

any help Ubuntu people

Hi,

newb helping out a new here. ;)
What worked for me was going to Wine configuration -> Graphics and selecting "Emulate virtual desktop".
This will force the game into a window instead of fullscreen.

I'm not sure if you can actually have full-screen game support in Wine.

d.w m8, newb worked it out by himself.

then my computer messed up so i re-formated again, and it worked fine with no configuration, windows style :)
