Introduction:

Zage is a turn-base strategy game run on Linux. The story happen in a realm where the law of nature got twist by a Ideal Engine, G.O.D., which create by a polymath scientist age along during the 2nd Renaissance. This engine was built in order to let people live in their ideal life. Thing such as magic, dragon, Chi, and many other things that only appear in fantasy of man kind are now physical appear in the world because of G.O.D. In order to protect this Engine, the scientist who create it also create a Force system call the Angel Force, also know as the Angel Army. Thousand of years has pass after G.O.D is created, people have form a new set of culture and laws under the physic that is given by the engine. However, there is a group of people who start to think, this engine destroy the reality. And people have live under the laws of the one who created this engine, although the law is almost perfect. They try to destroy the engine, but at the end, they disappear, and no one know where they have gone. Many years later, the Main character “Is”, (means mystery in the story) and his friends N.S. (Means extremes, she is a girl). (They are Legend Hunters) found a dairy that belong to the Group Lead who try to destroy G.O.D. years ago, and they begin to realize there truth behind their every day life. As who they are, the Legend Hunters. They begin to search for the truth.

Background:

This game is a Open Game that use free engine, library, and Open Source software. It will be always free for download. Although you can buy a hard copy to support the team. It will be develop under C++(or Python). And Use Blender as it’s main graphic tool along with Gimp and inkscape. .ogg will be the format use for music file, and Finally .avi will be use for video.

Description:

The requirement of this game wouldn’t need you to have a cutting edge computer in order to play. although you will need your keyboard and your favorite mouse to play it. Speakers are recommended but not require.

Key Features:

The main game play of Zage is in screen turn-base strategy, which mean it will go into a difference screen which where the battle will take place. Like never before. A Key Hit system will be introduce. For example, when you choose a skill to attack your enemy. A percentage of the full attack potential damage will be give to the enemy, and the player will need to complete a series of key hit like what you did in DDR in order to give the enemy the full potential damage.

Beside the main stream of game play, there are many stage in the game which you will need to solve some puzzle in order to continues. There are also number of secret stage and items, that will tell you more about setting and background of the main story, and the realm the story told place. It is up to you to discover the game world. You are allow to go back to anyway of the map, and discover more about it.

There are also few secret characters you are able to meet during the journey. They will make your journey much more interesting. There will also be a rich collection of items. It will give a excreta challenge to the game.

Job up grade, there will be a job grouping system. As you up grade your job, you will gain with many new skills, and new looks.

Genre:

The main focus of this game is the game play experience. The graphic focus on this game is not toward to realistic, which will increase the system requirement. The graphic will be well made as it is in it’s own art, and gorgeous.

Platform(s):

The game will release in Linux only first. It will have a On-Line play mode after the Main game is finish. Windows and OS X version might or might not be develop by the original term. That will be discussion after the game is complete done, and run perfectly under Linux.
