high quality slideshow

hi,
I search for a long time a good viewer (slideshow) for photos, what I look for is something graphically advanced: i dont care about music combination or moviemaking but just a sophesticated slideshower: fade in, fade out, zoom random, cross fade.... Something close to iphoto slideshow for mac, or even better!
I made a list here: any suggestions?

I haven't tried it, but Acrobat can do slideshows with transitions (and being a PDF, is cross platform).

I have Acrobat (full) here so I am not sure what it takes to set it up but I believe Reader can do hte full-size and specify the transitions.
