But, in all honesty, I do not mind the loss of Windows. I'm now making the full switch to linux. The thing that stopped me from switching before was due to my Wireless Card, a broadcom based one, not being supported, was easily solved with ubuntu. I followed a tutorial and successfully got the internet running, with less hassle than Windows. I opened a command prompt and downloaded Apache, PHP, and MySQL (I test websites locally) and they were configured more easily than with windows, again. All my hardware was detected and installed. This certainly is a far cry from my last Linux attempt, using Suse.
