Hey I've been using net responsibility, and I've been doing well with it.

But there are a few things that strike me. I wish it wouldn't send all the router addresses, or the other URL names that are used but not viewed by me. can't they simplify the list to simpler urls?

And every time a report is sent it is the entire list from when I first installed the software, which is really really extensive... please give me some advice as to how to set it simpler.

I wonder if X3 would have a linux edition?

From what I've seen net responsibility still needs a bit of polish. I'm hoping that during some breaks from my studies I might be able to have a look at the source and see what can be done.

Actually, I've been wondering about whether it might be possible to work out the Covenant Eyes protocol to write a linux client. I don't know if anyone has had a look into that (or if anyone has approached CE for permission to do so) but if you're able to lend a hand, that would be great.

Would this program also monitor files that are downloaded as well? I believe that's a very important issue to monitor as well. :)

i agree and not automatically sending reports to my partner sux.

I like xxxchruch their application is great. i can install it under wine but it will not check anything excrpt xp in wine which sux also. xxxchurch do not plan on making a linux edition. they say that as most people have mac or windows there is no need i hate that. their sorce code is closed so someone cant use it to make one for them.

one thing i find is that net responsibility is to memory hogging my computer runs to slow with it
it needs to be stripped out so it runs better for some of us on older computers.
