DVD Eject from remote

Hey guys. I have just assigned a button to run a script that ejects the dvd drive. I am using 'sudo eject' to eject and 'sudo eject -t' to close the drive.

This works fine except for 1 thing. Every time the tray ejects Mythtv switches straight to the Videos/DVD menu. Is there a way I can get it to eject without stopping me watching tv etc?

You may try uncheck "monitor cd/dvd drive" in myth setup.

Yeah I will give that a go. I like the dvd monitor feature though.

I was thinking something along the lines of when you actually push the eject button on the dvd drive and you get that little balloon window that says it is being ejected but it still lets you watch tv. Not sure how to do that though.
