I have installed Mythbuntu on a amd64 Gutsy Ubuntu install. It is a remote frontend, no problems connecting to my fully functional standalone front/back end system. Problem is on the remote install, when I use the arrow keys to move from menu item to menu item in the front end, the screen does not update. Same with the enter key etc. No changes I make are reflected on the screen. If I ctrl-alt arrow to the next desktop and back, the updates are shown. It doesn't matter what theme I am in.

My system is a Lenovo T61 with Nvidia card, 4GB ram and intel core 2 duo T7500 2.2Ghz.

What do i do?

Thanks,
Eric

Ok false alarm it seems. I exited mythfrontend and when mouse scrolling the cube desktop it was way choppy. I rebooted and it works now. Now I need to update my wireless to get the choppies gone while watching live tv...

Mythbuntu rocks btw. I have been installing MythTV on fedora for many years now. Always painful. This was unreal how easy this front end installed. Wow...
