for next release, could you maybe have somethign that works with MadWiFi/Atheros cards? pretty much, no scanning while being connected, so i little change in connection order, and a setting so that it doesn't periodically auto-scan
i'm sick and tired of Wifi-Radar :(

Hi.. this looks great. But I'm asking myself one question. Are there really so many people still using WEP instead of WPA?
Folks.. WEP has been compromised a while ago and should not be used anymore. It is pretty easy to receive the key of any WEP protected network in almost no time. It takes somewhat between 10mins and 10h depending on luck (luck, because the designflaw in WEP allows an attack working with probabilities). When I tried it never took me longer than 3h to get the WEP key of a network.
Anyway.. this is nice software and I really hope you'll support wpa soon. In the meantime I'll be using wpa_supplicant ;)

How do you configure hidden essid's? I saw that support is there, but never saw how that works?
When I click on the hidden networks tab from the preferences dialog, I only see a "remove" button.
Thanks for the great work.

So this doesn't work with atheros based cards? I was just about to download this, but maybe I am best just to wait. Luckily I only ever connect to 2 ssid's, so the default gnome wireless manager isn't horrible, but something better sure would be nice.
