Asus cinema U3000 mini

Hi

I really stuck, I've spent the last 3 days trying to get my asus mini DVB-t Dongle working, but it just won't. In the myth backend setup, when setting up the dongle, in "Capture cards", I select DVB DTV capture card (v3.x) And then the Frontend ID: says Could not get card info for card #O Subtype : Unknown

And when scanning for channels it says Failed to open card

lsusb in teminal reads:
Bus 002 Device 006: ID 0b05:171f ASUSTek Computer, Inc.
.......others........

I just dont know what to do :( so any help would be greatly appreciated,

Did you resolve this Robin? - I have the same prob now with 8.04 and the asus usb my cinema u3000 device. Can anyone point me somewhere useful? googling isn't helping, though I am limiting the search to this device.
