When I run the emulator it fails to initialize the sound and runs ultra fast. Is there anyway to either make it use a different sound device or slow it down to normal speed?

Already fixed that for now, but when I start it I see the following error in the terminal:

Error: Cant create file /path/game.sav

Anything I can do? I'm so close to getting it running perfectly >.< It still loads and plays the games but I dont want to bother if I cant save!

is there no where to set the save directory? /path/game.sav doesn't sound set to me.

I was just using generic terms for the path

The actual thing is /home/anthony/roms/Advance_Wars.sav

Yes but I noticed it doesn't go to the folder where the ROM is but tries to go through a /home/anthony/.vba/ folder which as far as I know or can see doesn't exist? Is it a hidden folder? And if so how do I view it?

Ah nevermind I figured out how to view hidden files. Thanks, I changed the ownership so I can read and write to it.
