Number keys on keyboard not working in Myth

Howdy friends

I have Mythbuntu 7.10 installed right now with Mty version 0.21. Everything is working fine short of one small issue, the number keys on my keyboard don't do anything. Outside of Myth, the numbers work fine, but inside (like when II'm trying to enter an IMBD number) nothing happens.

I checked the key bindings and numbers are all bound to numbers (is this good or bad?).

I also tried with another keyboard (if it helps, my primary keyboard is a wireless usb logitech, and the backup is a dell ps/2), but the issue persisted.

Any ideas? Thanks a bunch.

[Edit] I'll also add that the number keys work fine while playing a movie or DVD (and they execute the functions bound by the application running [mplayer, etc.] )

i ran into this myself yesterday and haven't had a chance to figure out what's going on.

a workaround is to use the "virtual keyboard" in myth- by hitting the "OK" or "enter" button on
your remote, or the enter key on the keyboard, which pulls up a graphical keyboard you
can navigate and enter numbers with. a pain... but workable.
