i installed the game and got it to start up but the videos and everything were laggy (and the game froze at the login screen) so i realized i didnt have the nvidia driver enabled (just reinstalled ubuntu) so i enabled it and restarted but now bf wont get past the splash screen. Ive seen this same problem on my desktop because the video card is insufficient it will just exit upon closing the splash screen (the desktop runs xp and thats what my wine is set for), but i've played bf on vista on my laptop
any ideas?
