Yesterday I did some customizations on my Ubuntu system and when I today started up the system again I got some differences from yesterday.
First of; I got this Windows 98 look on all my windows. I would like to turn my theme entirely into Human, like before.
Second; I can't use my shortcut commands from my keyboard (pause, play, internet shortcut button etc.).
And third; my iPod and external drive doesn't show up on the desktop, but I can find them in the "media" folder.
Please help me get everything to normal!

!
1) System => Preferences => Appearance
2) On the Theme tab, select the Human theme
3) Click Close.

Well, I've tried that. First I get an error message. Since my system is in swedish, I can only post it with swedish text. It says "Can't start the settings handler "gnome-settings-daemon" in the beginning.
I click "OK" and then tries to change it into Human again. The problem is that I don't get rid of the Windows 98 look, and also, the bars aren't orange, but blue.

And by "Windows 98 look" I mean the buttons and the borders separating the sections in a windows. Like separating the searchbar in Firefox from the bookmark bars beneath.

I now realized that when I throw something in the trash bin, I don't get any chance to empty the bin. The thing I throw in there just vanishes by itself.

PROBLEMS SOLVED!
Just did a restart and by some reason everything seams to work now. Thank you anyway!
