I don't understand this gosh I mean everything else on it works fine I can even load the bios plugins but see the audio and video ones come from the plugins directory and it worked fine on windows but with wine on here it can't find the things is there a way to make wine or epsxe in wine to notice the plugins?

Well, firstly there's a linux version of ePSXe so there's not really any reason to run it through WINE.
Secondly, (and more importantly) ePSXe hasn't been updated in a LONG LONG time while there's a newer (and better!) psx emulator called pSX.

It doesn't use any plugins so you won't have to deal with the hassle. I strongly suggest you make the switch. I just tried it out a few days ago and was blown away.

Isn't it a shame that we are not able under linux to emulate well playstation, and that wine is required. two emulations. Vmware/virtual box is unfortunately too slow to emulate well the games

frenchnoob, pSX works VERY VERY well. I think you missed my first post. You should try it. In the future, please try to focus on the topic.

frenchn00b won't believe you, cisforcojo. It seems he has a very old machine (I've tried to get him to post the specs several times, but...), but the reason so many applications won't run properly on it is, apparently, entirely down to shortcomings in those applications and Linux.
Not a lot you can say, really. :???:
As you say, pSX runs superbly in Linux. I think it may run even better than in Windows. ;)
