I've looked around on the net and can't find an answer, but one other person had this same issue on these forums with no help. I like the gsnes9x interface, but it doesn't launch the files. I checked the directory over and over. The command is set to "snes9x" I changed the file names of the games to contain no symbols, spaces, underscores, or anything. I can use terminal "snes9x /home/user/Documents/folder/filename.smc" and the file launches. So it should all be set up correctly. It just simply doesn't work. Is there a way to fix this? I don't like the snes9xexpress front end, or could someone direct me towards another front in that looks as nice as gsnes9x?

Have you ever tried using snes9x-gtk? It really is one of the best versions of snes9x for Linux that I have used so far...

There's a thread with links, here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=595007
