Would this art style work?

Hey, I'm quite new to Ubuntu and I was trying to figure out a way in which I could actually contribute. The first thing that popped into my head was with some wallpaper design. I'm not sure if my artwork tends to be a bit too dark for the general feel of Ubuntu, but I figured I'd give it a show and see what people think. The easiest way to view the art is at keraos.deviantart.com .

A few pieces which I thought were the closest to the Ubuntu style (I'd probably want to create something new, and quite a bit lighter :P)

This is not tipacally what Ubuntu uses (they are more light-n-brown). The theme is pretty much done for this release anyway. You can get a jump start for next release though. :)
