Hitting "Watch TV" button dosnt do anything

I am very new to Myth but not Ubuntu. I have a machine running mythbuntu with a hauppauge pvr 150 card. I just set everything up last night but when it hit the "Watch TV" button the screen flashes and nothing happends. I dont even know where to begin to troubleshoot this, any help would be wonderful.

First check >Information Center >System Status >Tuner Status, see if your tuner is listed as available.

Did you follow steps for setting up the card in the Backend setup?
Do you have an account setup with Schedules Direct? Did you create a lineup for your area with SD?
