Greetings! I am a relatively new Ubuntu user, so bear with me. I'm loving Omega (the roguelike...), and there is a tileset file in the directory, but I cannot seem to figure out how to use it. I've tried compiling the gromega package, but couldn't figure it out...and ended up peppering my system with useless files. Any tips? Thanks in advance...

Omega issue #2: I cannot save the game at all. Do I have to drop in a dummy save file, or something like that? I don't see any documentation on configuring Omega, other than the options accessible from within the game...but, again, I'm relatively new to the command line. If it wasn't for Granneman's wonderful Phrasebook, I wouldn't understand basic file management...

bump...
...is anyone out there actually into playing these obscure roguelikes? I'm kinda just throwing myself into it for terminal practice, but I'm definitely getting hooked. Is the configuration for Omega similar to that of most roguelikes (i.e. Slash'Em)?
