Can Ubuntu/kubuntu be installed on the HP Meda Smart Server..If so..can it be both(MS and Linux)?if so..best way..This is a home server of 1T..expanable to 2T..Thank you..jdroost@gmail.com

I personally have no idea what the HP Media Server is.

If its just a regular computer.. grab the (K)Ubuntu Live CD, and jam it in. and see how it works running off of the live CD.

If its just a simple NAS, then leave it be, and let it do what it was intended to do.
