The DSL modem is from Frontier, a Siemens, SpeedStream 6520, Wireless ADSL Gateway, Part # 050-N652-A22. DSL line into the DSL modem from Frontier with wireless capability and 4 ethernet connections. I have my server connected to two ethernet connections, eth0 and eth1, on the DSL modem and one connection on the DSL modem connects to a Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router, Model WRT54G, V3, where my PC's are connected. All PC's and the server see the external dynamic IP address of 74.36.227.21 (at this time), my server is using DynDNS with domain name of romneysecuredata.com and has been verified with DynDNS. I called Frontier and was told that Frontier is NOT blocking any ports. I have used the tests at DynDNS.com to try to connect to my server and get "Timed Out". I have not installed any firewalls on any Linux PC's and I'm not running windows at this time even though two PC's are dual boot.
I can ping 74.36.227.21, but can not ping the domain name of romneysecuredata.com using any of the common ports??????
I am fairly new to Linux and I'm not sure where to go from here.
How can I check the DSL modem/router?
Are there any other things I can check?
Thanks for any help.
