Hi guys, I'm one of the Lords' but don't run C.E. Are you all members of the C.E. forum, or just affiliated by looking and postingl? I'm not asking to become a member of the team to give advice etc., but if one has to be a member of the forum to post regularly etc. Perhaps this is a strange thread - my apologies - but I think this is a good witness to my non-Christian mates. Thanks in advance.

I can't officially speak for this forum, and I'm a full-blown noob, but I recall Jesus saying something about "He who is not against me is for me." I look forward to any contribution you make, and hope that this witnessing tool will have eternal significance for your mates!

Thanks Eutaw, I appreciate your sentiments. The Lord has been so good to me and I want to show my respect for him by being a witness. Was it Tertullian or Augustine that said, "At all times preach the Gospel and as a last resort use words"? God bless you, mate.

Hi and welcome :)
That quote is of St. Francis of Assisi :) To quote it corrctly:
"Preach the Gospel always, speak when necessary. - St Francis of Assisi"

Thanks John, always nice to know where sayings come from, and thanks for the welcome. Are you member of the CE forum - does membership actually exist - or are you a member by affiliation? Regards.

Hi again,
I've seen that this thread has had a few views, but as there have been limited answers I'm going to conclude that there isn't official membership, per se. However, I've been made to feel welcome - thank you - so look forward to interacting with you, and helping anyone with the limited knowledge I hold. I shall post this thread as solved. Blessings.

Apologies for delay but have been a little unwell, by am ok now, thanks be to God :)
I am a fellow user of Linux CE and love the idea of a specific version for Christians (whatever flavour :). The membership is simply registering on the ubuntu forums so you can personalise your posts and receive help/replies to any problems. Again apologies for delay in replying.
Jereme is a great guy and works hard at this. I believe it is worth waiting till he is back in action. (On an aside, it is good to send little encoraging messages every now and then to him, I would not like to go through what he has done, I am a 61 year young grandad btw :)
God bless and keep you and yours
