I've played with it. It's fun stuff.

Only install if your graphics card is fully accellerated. It doesn't have to be powerful, works fine on my onboard i810

Yeah, I've played with it. It is not quick enough to be really functional. Great for showing off some eye candy though!

It's does have some functional use, but as stated it it's description in Synaptic, it's a huge resource hog.
