Hi,
I'm running gutsy on a 64-bit system built around a dual core athlon on a M3A board. 2 weeks ago I bought a PC60G wireless card and experienced network drop out till I installed the 64-bit drivers as instructed on this forum here (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=617066&highlight=pc60g).
Now the internet works great for a while but eventually my system freezes, ie completely locks up, the screen shows a web page mid-load and the mouse/keyboard no longer have any effect. I can play single player doom3 for hours and it will be completely stable but once I start browsing the web it will freeze up, it might last 2 minutes, it might last 30 minutes but it will freeze. I see no issues other than the freeze.
It is a dual boot system with 32-bit XP, I have never seen a freeze on XP, but I don't use it very much so I can't really say if the problem exists there.
So I need to figure out if this is hardware incomplatability or a bad card (I need to know whether to return it for a replacement or refund)
Has anyone got any suggestions how I can figure this out?
Thanks
