I am looking for a descent IDEt for web and C++. The minimum requirements would be syntax highlighting for PHP,HTML,CSS,JS,C++. I would also like to have single file code complete or even multiple file code complete. It would also be nice to have something like code explorer so if i have a file open with a class i can see all members and method for the class. Also being able to set highlighting for a file extension like have .xtpl files use html highlighting. I have tried eclipse and it is just slow and buggy, code complete is buggy at best.

Try the IDE's listed in the sticky's reference.

Most editors that I have seen allow you to set highlighting associations, or manually change them.
