i didnt see a gnu/linux port when i googled and the transgaming/cedega game list does not mention it, sorry guess you will just have to wait :sad:

Hm, well. No biggy, it'd just have inspired me to buy a nvidia card a bit sooner. :-)
Can't run games with ati under x.org, anyway.

I know they are thinking about creating an installer at http://liflg.org/ (see thread here: http://liflg.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=95&highlight=rome), but since it will probably be dependant on Cedega I don't know how it will run. According to the Cedega website the game (and its predecessors Shogun and Medieval) refuses to run.
