Virtual Vista Media Center?

Hello.

I was wondering if anyone had any experience / thoughts on running Vista Media Center in a virtual Vista system.

Specifically, booting to Ubuntu, turning on a virtual instance of Vista, and using Vista as a PVR, recording and playing live tv?

Is this doable? If so, how? Is the performance hit associated with virtualization a big problem? And how do you manage getting the electronic programming guide information?
